The upcoming series of iPhone 15 is going to feature USB type -C charging and have to avoid using a lighting port. This step ultimately means that Apple is choosing the faster speed worldwide use of charging USB which will consequently transfer data at faster speed.
However, Apple’s senior Vice president of marketing says that we have no choice rather than shifting to type C USB charge.
According to Joswik, we still don’t have enough knowledge about Apple’s transition to Type C USB charging as Apple has kept the knowledge limited to itself.
Little knowledge about USB-C:
USB – C is considered one of the best connections of wires between a phone and a laptop or some other r devices.
If you purchase a Laptop or phone featuring USB so know that you have bought a standard and advanced device. It serves both as charging and for data transmission.
The total number of pins in USB-C is 24, of which 16 are consumed for data transmission and 4 act as charging sources, and the remaining 4 are ground pins.
Improvement in speed:
According to the reports and rumors, the pro models will be stronger enough to support Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3.2 while the rest of the models of iPhone 15 may only limited to only USB C port. The predicted speed for the USB C port is 40Gbps
Similarly, according to Apple analyst Ming-chi Kuo, the iPhone 15 and their models will be supporting only USB 2.0 which is a kind of conventional and the recorded speed of it is 400mbps plus speed which is low as compared to the USB-C port.
Optimizing the charging speed
A program named “Made for iPhone “is arranged for iPhone 15 models, so the chargers certified under this program performance will be optimised. And the chargers without certification will not be allowed to avail the fastest speed as the other.
